Use Policy and Conduct Rules

1. Introduction

Welcome to CoRize! This Use Policy and Conduct Rules document is designed to ensure a positive, productive, and collaborative environment for all our members. By using our space, you agree to abide by these guidelines. 

2. General Conduct

2.1. Respect: Treat all members, staff, and guests with respect and courtesy. 

2.2. Noise Levels: Maintain appropriate noise levels. Use headphones for audio and keep phone conversations brief or move to designated areas. 

2.3. Cleanliness: Keep your workspace and common areas clean. Clean up after yourself in shared spaces. 

2.4. Fragrance: Be mindful of strong scents that may affect others. 

2.5. Attire: Dress appropriately for a professional environment. 

3. Use of Facilities 

3.1. Hours of Operation: Respect the posted operating hours. After-hours access is reserved for specific membership tiers. 

3.2. Shared Spaces: Use common areas considerately. Do not monopolise shared resources. 

3.3. Meeting Rooms: Book meeting rooms in advance. Cancel reservations you won't use. 

3.4. Equipment: Handle all equipment and furniture with care. Report any damages immediately. 

3.5. Internet Usage: Use the internet responsibly and legally. Do not engage in any unlawful online activities. 

4. Security and Safety 

4.1. Access: Do not share your access credentials with others. Always escort your guests. 

4.2. Visitors: Register all guests at reception. You are responsible for your guests' conduct. 

4.3. Personal Property: CoRize is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Use lockers for valuable items. 

4.4. Emergency Procedures: Familiarise yourself with emergency exits and procedures. 

5. Workspace Etiquette 

5.1. Phone Calls: Use designated areas for extended phone calls or video conferences. 

5.2. Food and Drinks: Consume food in designated areas only. Use containers with lids for drinks at your workspace. 

5.3. Collaboration: Respect others' need for focus. Arrange meetings in appropriate areas. 

5.4. Workspace: Return shared spaces to their original state after use. 

6. Community and Events 

6.1. Participation: We encourage participation in community events, but it is not mandatory. 

6.2. Networking: Respect others' privacy and work commitments when networking. 

6.3. Promotions: Do not solicit or promote services to other members without prior approval from management. 

7. Environmental Responsibility

7.1. Energy Conservation: Turn off lights and equipment when not in use. 

7.2. Recycling: Use designated recycling bins for appropriate materials. 

7.3. Sustainability: Support our sustainability initiatives by minimising waste and using resources responsibly. 

8. Prohibited Activities 

The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in termination of membership: 

8.1. Illegal Activities: Engaging in any unlawful activities on the premises. 

8.2. Harassment: Any form of harassment or discrimination. 

8.3. Smoking: Smoking or vaping inside the building. 

8.4. Alcohol and Drugs: Consumption of alcohol (except at authorized events) or illegal drugs. 

8.5. Pets: Pets are not allowed. 

9. Violations and Enforcement 

9.1. Reporting: Report any violations or concerns to the CoRize staff. 

9.2. Consequences: Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or termination of membership. 

9.3. Appeals: Members may appeal decisions by contacting management in writing. 

10. Amendments

CoRize reserves the right to amend these rules as necessary. Members will be notified of any changes. 

By using CoRize facilities, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Use Policy and Conduct Rules.
